Fast Learn Reader is a speed reading Chrome extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data Collection

Fast Learn Reader does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All data stays on your device.

• Text Input: Any text you enter is processed locally in your browser and is never sent to any server.
• Settings: Your preferences (WPM, font, theme) are stored locally using Chrome's storage API and are never transmitted externally.
• Page Capture: When you use the "Page Capture" background feature, a screenshot of the current tab is taken and stored temporarily in local browser storage. It is never uploaded or shared.
• Video Recording: Video recordings of your reading sessions are generated entirely in your browser and saved directly to your device. No recordings are uploaded to any server.

Permissions

• activeTab: Used solely to capture a screenshot of the current tab when the "Page Capture" background option is selected.
• storage: Used to save your settings (theme, WPM preferences) locally.

Third-Party Services

Fast Learn Reader does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN for font rendering purposes only.

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device and nothing is transmitted to external servers, there is no risk of data breach from our extension.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
